Rescuing Unwanted Furever Friends
RUFF is a 501 c 3 rescue licensed with the Illinois Department of Ag. We are a small group of volunteers that are passionate about saving as many animals as we can. We mainly focus on dogs but help with cats as well. We have a licensed humane investigator in out group that can help with calls of abuse in our area and the surrounding areas. Our adoptables come to us in many ways, some are from abuse, some come to us as a dumped dog and we also have owner relinquished dogs. We hold fundraisers to pay for the vetting, microchipping and spay or neutering of the animals.

​What our adoption fee includes!
All RUFF animals are vetted, spayed or neutered, microchipped and given a clean bill of health. They are then placed in a loving foster home so they learn manners, get love, attention. They learn how to socialize with families and their pets. None of our pets are ever kept in a pound type enviroment.
